So now that I have a job again......I decided to let the MOD bug bite me again......I have decided to order up the Pedders Lowering Springs.....They say that the drop is about 1.25 inches...but some drivers are getting about 1.50 to 1.75 inches after they settle....That is a perfect drop for 20" wheels...I hope to have them in about 1-2 weeks then I plan to buy the stock Mazda 20" CX9 wheels and powder coat them gloss black... :26fdf3e6: :61424796:

Will the drop of the springs be offset in ground clearance by the larger wheels?

Yes....Here is a guy who has 20" wheels on his CX7....Before and After....He said that the springs have settled and dropped a little more...

I was waiting for the BC Coil-overs...but they will never get back to me about it...and I have a few guys over at StreetUnit bugging them also....I'd rather have an adjustable suspension....but oh well..

Wow that settled in a lot. Looks good. When it settles it probably drops so much due to the weight of the vehicle.

Wait for the Coilovers, that drop is very minimal and a waste of money on Springs IMO. The CX-9 wheels are gonna look sick in Black. :)

There is no ETA for the coil-overs...StreetUnit is working with BC...but BC is dragging there feet and not responding to anyone...Plus I can always sell them later....

Thats true... How much are the Springs anyways?

$320....the coil-overs would be between $1000 to $ 1500....The one kit that is out now from Autoexe is $1400 and the drop only allows 1" drop...

The springs that I had on my 3 were only supposed to be a 1.5" drop.... after they settled it was a 2" drop....so I think these will settle nicely..

So I talked to the guys at Corksport....they haven't sold any of the Pedders springs yet....and they couldn't give me any sort of reviews on it....

The guy told be that they sold a few of the Autoexe springs....which are a 1.75" drop from the get go.....So I decided to order these ones instead...they are a little more $420....but based on the reviews of everyone who has used the Autoexe springs on there car...I think I'll be happy with close to a 2" drop...

Does anyone have a StreetUnit discount code??? I'm going to order from them...Free shipping..
