All i know is "RB" specializes in Mazda's and some people prefer some parts from them.
But would The springs for the Convertible be more or less beneficial than getting Mazda OEM springs?

I'm reading all this detail "RB" has submitted but i can't find any experience about the compression life. And it doesn't look like there are Eibach springs for Non-turbo FC's.


Anyone using any of these springs and how do you like them?

All I here is good things about them. Don't buy the springs through RB, buy them through Mazdatrix.com. RB has real bad customer service, Mazdatrix has great customer service and the price is the same or lower.

Cool, Mazdatrix says they got both fronts for 63$ and both rears for 63$ that's 126$ for the whole set v.s. 240$. That is way cheaper than Racingbeat.com is this for real? Seems like i would get the RB since it's that or Stock. And stock is quite the expense. I don't even want to add it up.

So the compression should be no different than stock if i claim the RB springs?

it is $63 for each spring which is the same price as buying them separate through RB. I would talk to Mazdatrix and see if they can get them as the set.

Anyone have a good mix-match strut bar set up?

Like a firewall-front and Rb-rear strut? Whatever the case maybe I want a firewall brace on the front.

I'm not sure much about this for the FC. One thing you need to look at is if you plan on racing at all, some classes don't allow firewall bars

I haven't seen much happening racing wise down here, but if it is very beneficial to use a firewall i think i'll go for it. Since RB doesn't make them anymore i figured it was a racing situation. Some Mazdaspeed's have firewall struts equipped as stock.

If anyone has any disagreements on firewall for an FC i would to know.

Does having a firewall make a disadvantage on the track?

not in terms of cornering. From what I understand the reason for the rule is because it is an added firewall penetration that could cause a problem if you had an engine fire. I could be wrong though.

I was thinking maybe you should start a new thread about the strut bar and you should get a better response.
