prokit, + yellows now clunk

Postby T-time » Thu Sep 03, 2009 9:14

well i put in my pro kit and koni yellows and now i have a clunk in the front right. i pulled the wheel back off and checked everything (all torqued down) and it still clunks. with the car completely lifted from the ground the spring can be moved on its perch (i assume because the spring is shorter) but its seated in the perch correctly (on the bottom at least) the top when i put it in, i aligned it where it needed to go. what am i missing.

oh btw do you need to drop the subframe to do spc camber links (bars)? the drivers side looks possible but the passenger side has something mounted a inch from the bolt (on the subframe) that can be taken off with out dropping the subframe. if i tried pulling that bolt it would hit the thing thats a inch from it.

any ideas?

Since the other springs went on fine without clunking...I would take both sides off from the front and inspect them side by side just to double-check your work.

I see you posted on 9-3. Have you had any luck?

Yea I fixed it... The top perch wasn't aligned and wasn't tight enough
