The Fuzions are $88 on TireRack. I got them locally, as shipping, etc. would have made them more $$ through TireRack.

Yeah it really does suck. I am still trying to figure out if I should just get summer tires now and then in november buy winter tires. Or to just stick with the Pirelli All season tires. .............[/b]

I have a set of 17's sitting in the garage. LOL

I need 215/45-18 and I cannot find that price that you said anywhere.... can you tell me where you found that price? I was thinking that price was for the 17" tires.

If my car calls for 215/45-18, can I put 225/40-18's on the stock rims? Would this cause problems??

Should be no problem. The 225/40s are a bit wider than my stock tires. I have no problems on my 5.

It won't be a problem....that's what I was telling you about...getting a slightly wider tire would be better..

Go to TIRES.COM....they show you optional plus size 18's that will work...

The only thing it will change is you speedo will be off by like 1-2MPH at 65+MPH.Good thing is that if you rub a curb with the wider ones on you probably wont get curb rash.

I don't mind the speedo being off. I like what Rush said about them wearing less because they are wider, and the curb thing also... thats a plus. Okay, so now that I have a size set... brands??? Pirelli's (in this size) are now out of my price range.

Hey Evo... Are you a member of CevoC? My friend just got an Evo last Saturday. I told him to join up.

Are you going to be at the BBQ? If so, just check out everyone elses and talk about the good and bad. That might make it easier.

You need to figure on what you want:

M+S, Performance, Tread wear, Ride, Noise and Price to name a few.

You will have to compromise.

The handling will improve slightly...Wider is Better...With every set of wider tires I've had...they seem to last longer than what the dealer recommends..

Yeppers, I will be at the BBQ. I was planning on looking at what other 6s have also... I agree with having to comprimise. It will work out :)
