• snow tires!!

ok i can't really decide should i go with this one

they look the same jus wondering what the difference was. i would go with blizzak's but im on a budget. i also do drive a 88rx7 as a daily and need some snow tires badly

The tread pattern is basically the same. The Hankooks appear to have wider voids between the tread blocks which I think would be better- but what do I know.

I am in my second winter with the Hankooks. Haven't had any complaints about them.

I have the Generals... No problem here so far. Start and stop easily.

I have Blizzaks LM-25 225-45-18(MS6) but am not impressed thus far. I would have never paid the $225 a tire for what I got. Luckily I got a good deal on craigslist(new). I have been less confident then my Kumho asx's. Very squirly in most conditions. But only time will tell. I agree with Tom go with the Hankooks, that is what I was going to get before I found the Blizzaks(IMO not worth the extra money)

FWIW, the Hankook iPikes are favorites among the rallycrossers. The tires bite really well in those loose conditions.

I have those exact same Hankooks on my SRT-4. My car is like a tank in the snow with them on. I would recommend them to anyone.

Do you have iPikes? I was wondering if it says where they are made on the tire?

Yeah, I have them. I'll look at the sidewall and see and report back. I would think they are made in Korea.

Are your Generals made in France? I belive my General Exclaims are made in France.

+1 on the Hankooks. Had 'em on my Audi and loved 'em.

looks like hankooks it is. i still have summer tires so it gets really sketchy at times but havn't gotten stuck yet

I know mine have a nice thick rubber ridge that sticks out well beyond the rim.

Called a "rim protector". But if you are determined enough, you can still do a number to your rim against a curb. In this case, knowledge comes from experience.

My Fuzions have a nice one, too.
