Sorry i should have clarified that i am not really concerned with tread wear. Only that i want the tread wear rating to be more than the OEM potenza 140. Which both are.. lol. Dunlops here i come! mmmm

Andrew, you should also strongly consider these:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Sizes.jsp?make=Bridgestone&model=Potenza+RE-01R
They are pretty much the top rated street tire in the SCCA autox world.

These are on closeout to make room for the new model arriving shortly.

AAFES will match a lower price if you find it, too. I ordered a set of winters at AAFES.com and got free mounting/balancing with a price drop = to Tire Rack on the tires!! :D

I had kumhos on my speed6 and they were good tires and everything but they wore out extremely, extremely fast! Maybe it was my driving... haha, but I just got some new yokohamas and they are the shit! So my opinion would be to avoid kumhos, unless you can get a good warranty on em or something

I was half tempted to get a set for myself as well, but I've still got another season left on the current tires. No use throwing those away with good tread still on them. And I know there's no way I could just let the RE-01Rs just sit in the corner for over a year (not to mention it's not exactly good for a tire to sit).

Damn...wish I was in the market right now. Hard price to pass up for sure. BTW, you wouldn't have needed to "settle" for the Direzzas, being that they are rated higher than the RE-01Rs :)
