I just ordered a new set of Summer tires: 225/40/18 Dunlop DIREZZA SPORT Z1 STAR SPEC. should be installed by the end of the week!
Looks like I got about 16 to 18k on the stockers, just curious what everyone else got on there's. I'll post in a couple of weeks with a review.

Those Star Specs are suppose to be pretty awesome. I haven't heard how they have been doing for autox, but the early reviews on them looked good. I think this month Grassroots Motorsports magazine has a test on them (also has an MS3 on the cover).

Well, it's time for the review. These are amazing tires! Very responsive with lots of sticking power. The tires don't break loose as much as the stockers did and feel amazing. I've had a few runs up at the CSP track with them on and they were awesome. My friend was riding with me and he has a 2006 STI with the RE01's on them and felt I was sticking to the track better than he was. They also came in first in the recent Car and Driver test.(Aug 2009 issue) They are a little louder than stock, but not enough to drive me crazy... All the rain has not been a problem, as they still do well in the water

A proper summer tire like this will kick ass in the rain compared to an all season tire- provided it isn't worn down too much (like any tire). Glad they are working out well for you and someone has the balls to get a proper summer tire around here.
