This thread is in need of an update.

1 of 4 custom chrome rx8 wheels where runied. I found 1 custom chrome rx8 wheel on ebay and won the auction. The color did not match. Powdercoating is not worth the prices I have seen.

I am going to sand down my chrome rx8 wheels. Then paint them.

Whoa...... When did this happen. Way back in Sept. Those look pretty sweet Eric. I was gonna use the gunmetal when I did mine. I have to re-do them cause I got bad curbrash.

That pin stripping looks sweet also.

My day off work turned into a day of backbreaking hard labor on the car today. Started off simple enough with taking the car to the car wash, then I decided it still looked like hell so I clay bar'd it, still not good enough so then I wax and polished it. Then I looked at the wheels, they looked like hell:

So I sanded those bastards down too and painted them. I promised pictures of the RX8 wheels, but they are still at the powdercoater so these other painted rims are the replacement till then.

Color: Aluminum metal flake Brand: Rustoleum wheel paint
