Cross Your Fingers for New Rubbers!

Postby Stealth01 » Sat Oct 09, 2010 9:14

I'm heading down to H & H Tire in Fountain this morning because I entered a contest on Kilo 94.3 to win new tires. Had to send them pictures of my "Dead Tread" and they were going to judge whose were the worst and give them new tires from H & H. SOooooo...if I win, it would take care of the summer tire thing for me, and I'd be able to focus on re-doing my brake system in the summer instead! They sent me an email this week saying that to win, I have to show up between 11 and 12.

That said, based on the pictures on their website, there are some really bad ones...way worse than mine. Cords showing, etc. But it's worth a shot, right?

Besides, it's free BBQ. :)

Good luck! I think you need some after some of the bs you've been through this year.

I feel like things are turning around, Lyssa. If Jen gets that promotion in January, we'll start making some serious progress, but winning these would really ease things.

Even if they turn out to be cheap Nexens or something. :)

Well, I tried. This place is on the west side of 85/87, near Fontaine. But I couldn't get across 85/87 because of some stupid parade. Roads were all closed, and since I couldn't be there, I was not one of the finalists and didn't even SNIFF new free tires. :(
