Tire paint markers

Postby RX-7 Chris » Thu Jan 13, 2011 9:14

Anyone know where I can get a silver tire paint marker local?

My car has 4 factory mud flaps on it and they have Mazda painted in silver on them. The paint is faded and worn on the mud flaps. I figured tire paint would be my best option.

Try:
McGee Co 303-777-2615 (Sante Fe and Mississippi)

Meyers Tire Supply 303-762-8884 Between Dartmouth and Evans Tejon ish)

Both of these companies supply the tire shops.

I was reading that regular paint makers don't hold up as well

Are you planning to attend Saturday's race? I could pick some up tomorrow and have it with me. I did not check to see if they did have the item, but I'd be happy to call them. A call to Meyers might net a salesman or other vendor in the Springs area.....

I'm not going to be able to make the race. Thanks for the offer though.

Hobbylobby should have some true paint-markers that might hold up.

I have a silver tire marker. A Sharpie paint pen or similar from an art supply store will hold up as well, if not better. It didn't last too long.
