Mazdaspeed MS-T II wheels

Postby Number2 » Mon Mar 21, 2011 9:14

Just bought the Rays Engineering Mazdaspeed MS-TII wheels. Yes I know my car needs to be lowered. That is my next mod.

Edit:
I wasn't sure if I wanted these wheels, but there were several factors that swayed me.

1) The owner was an older guy, and he babied the car/wheels. Also, the car was garaged. Hardly any damage at all.
2) I like the rivots design along the outer lip.
4) Offset is 50mm, almost identical to my 52.5mm offset. I couldn't really find a closer fit with an aftermarket wheel.
4) Bridgestone Potenzas R760 Sport tires w/ only 3k miles on them. Same size tires as OE.
5) Sure, gun metal, black, gold, bronze are all cool colors, and all wheels have been done to death. Even white wheels would look good on the car. In the end, it was the novelty factor and the rareness that sold me.

Nice looking rims. :7d056312:

I tell you what though, the more spokes you have, the harder it is to clean! I'm hoping I can reduce my car-cleaning time by 4 mins with these wheels!

I'm not sure about the wheel locks, but the center cap is indeed carbon fiber from what Paul said when he came back to Sonic after picking them up yesterday.

Looking into locks now, since the ones that fit my factory wheels do not fit. I need to double check the angle and size first. The lugs with these wheels are tiny.
Yes, the center caps are carbon fiber, or have the carbon fiber finish.
