Right now I'm back down to 255/35 front and 295/30 rear, I was using 285/35 front and 305/35 rear but they were kinda tall. They were Nittos though, and I think Nittos run a little tall compared to some other brands.

Ideally I want to do a staggered set up but seems like most of the places online don't do 19's that I like. Kind of the reason I was looking at 20's. I really don't think I would do 20's but not sure how many people actually have done it.

Also evom.net has a shit ton of wheels for sale for good deals in aggressive offsets, although some are too aggressive for the RX-8.

I almost got a sick set of CE28N's on there, 18x10.5" +28 up front +18 out back, but they were shipping with tires in some weird size I can't remember, plus the price was a little rich. But you can always score sick deals on there. 18x10.5 RPF1's sell there for a good price all day long.

It's also where I got my 5Zigen forged aluminum lugs for like $50 shipped haha

I wouldn't just trust what they say online. Sometimes it's better to call and tell them exactly what you're looking for, you'd be surprised at what they'll do for you. That is, of course, unless you get the all-knowing wheel king that knows you can't fit that set of wheels on your car because you couldn't possibly have modified it to fit bigger/wider wheels. *rolls eyes*

if you can fit 20's on an fc then you might be able to get away with it but i highly doubt it

You can do plenty of staggered 19" setups:

Volk CE28n's (awesome wheel) http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=VOLK-CE28N-10

Aggressive RX-8 fitment would be 19x10.5 +22 out back 19x9.5 +36 up front. You WOULD need a good roll/pull to fit this, also expect stretched tires, like 235/40 up front with 255's in the back. But that would baller.

Or you can do the classic TE37: http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=VOLK-TE37

Similar sizes here, 19x10.5 +22 out back with 19x9.5 +35 up front, again, serious roll/pull required.

And of course there's Work Meister S1 3-pieces, classic wheel: http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=WORK-MEISTER-S1-3P

Best part about Meister's is they make them in a plethora of offsets so you can get a good fit. Aggressive RX-8 fitment in 19's would be 19x10.5 +30 out back and 19x9.5 +43 up front. The front fitment might be a little weak but you could run a 3mm spacer to really flush it out, but I don't think it would be a big deal.

SSR TypeF is baller and has some good RX-8 fitments: http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=SSR-TYPE-F

19x10.5 +22 out back with 19x9.5 +38 up front. Again, roll/pull them fenders!

Of course, you can always go with CCW's, they make whatever offset you want, so you can really dial in the fitment. There are plenty of staggered 19's out there.

TE37's aren't nearly as played out as they once were. I've only been to a few car large car shows (i.e. HIN) where you see multiple sets of TE37's being rocked. Local shows you'll probably be the only one with them, especially in 19's.

Also, I like TireRack as much as the next guy, but they don't sell aggressive fitments at all. They sell stock offsets to guarantee fitment so in the end you have WEAK *** fitment and narrow, skinny tires. You can flush it out with spacers but you're looking at needing 25mm spacers, and in the end you could have got a wider wheel with a better offset and no spacer.

If you like polished multi spoke wheels check out CCW: http://www.ccwheel.com/

after seeing 19's on an 8 not really feeling it. 18's with a agressive offset is just perfect for the the car

wheel sites like wheelfire or tirerack wont sell you wheels they think wont fit your car cause of warranty reasons. thats why there arent really any wheels on there less than a +15 or whatever

^I really like that first 8, great sizing and fitment. Those are MB Battles though? I thought they were the ones you sold to Zico for the FC.

Damn OP, OZ and Breyton? Have expensive tastes huh? lol

Are you being sarcastic Eric? OZ And Breyton wheels cost about as much for a set of 4 as ONE Volk/Rays/CCW wheel cost.

I agree 18's are the best wheel for the 8, but the OP is dead set on 19's (or 20's).

That one OZ wheel he linked was a grand for one wheel. That's on the expensive end. The Breyton was more reasonable. But he's got baller status right now because of his overseas contract, heh.
