Looking for input on wheel color. What do you think?

Postby Colombia28 » Sun Feb 03, 2013 9:14

My summers were finally laid to rest after numerous track days. So now I have a set of wheels without rubber on them. A few years back I had rattle canned them graphite and now I'm debating redoing them the same or changing it up.

So, what do you all think? Graphite again? Black? Another color? Post up.

Here is what they looked like before the road and tire changes chewed the finish up:

Do something off the wall like a neon color. Something bright and different!

I thought about that, just not sure how good a neon would look with CBM. If my MS3 were black I would.

I really like the graphite with that color. Maybe go darker, like a charcoal? A metallic off-white, like a pearl color could look good as well. Neon wheels are faddish and rice.

I liked the idea of a pearlescent white. You could pull off a metallic white as well. I should have with my stock wheels, but I went satin black (silver s2000 though). I think with your darker car the contrast of white, or maybe even polished would look great.

I'm going to plasti dip my nicer wheels white with a polished lip to check the color out before pc.

With Cosmic Blue, I agree and like: black, graphite, or bronze...
I'm not crazy about bright wheels on most cars... (more into a bright car with dark wheels)

Bronze is another solid choice.
