Etched Rotor on window

Well I had a n negative (if you will) of a vynil that I wanted to etch. It's of a rotor with RX-8 in the middle. Just got done doing the one side. I screwed up the other vynil so only have one side of the car done.

is it just a paint? or does it actually eat at the glass?

It eats at the glass. So yes it's permanent.

Might have to make one for my brothers cars. His '72 442 has the olds logo and 442 on the rear windows. He wants his convertible 442 to be the same.

Greek looks very good. did you use etching paste or what process did you use?

Ya I used etching Paste. I want to try sand blasting one day and see what kinda a different result it creats. The little Sandblasting kits at Micheal's or Hobby Lobby is like $35 or so versus the $10 or so for the gel. So I took the cheap route.
