I was thinking bout this lil setup. Red fender vents with body matched paint strakes. I cant decide beacuse it kinda looks like its just hangin out there and not tied into anything.

IMHO NO!!!! I don't think you should do it. I think if you want to paint them you should mebe do tem body color. The red is to much. Like you said it doesn't tie into anything.

Here are gray vents. If you want to see red ones let me know.

With just the red vents they look out of place. Would have to see how the blend with your body matched paint strikes (photo shop) before I could say yah or nay.

I think painting the vents will make the car look cheap...stick with a black or body color. Maybe paint the calipers red if you havent already done so.

I don't like that.
