So my 8 had a problem, it would randomly start scrolling through stations, both on AM/FM and Sirius. It would also scroll through tracks on CDs. Burt couldn't figure it out so they replaced the stereo. As I was driving home it started it again. I pushed the scroll button to stop it like I had done on the old stereo and it stopped it like always. It hasn't done it again for several months. Just wondering if anyone else has had anything similar happen.

Strange, I haven't had anything like that happen on my stereo.

Yeah, it really sucks. I thought maybe it was a stuck button, but no. Then I thought a short, but that doesn't make sense either. Just a ghost in the machine it seems.

Yeah, it sound to me like something in the actual console area, and not the stereo itself. I had to have my Bose HU replaced because about 50% of the time, it would complete lose volume after about 5 seconds. I'd have Burt investigate the stereo controls area next, as I'm sure they replaced the head unit and didn't check that portion out. If it's not in the head unit, that's where it has to be.

I didn't realize the controls were seperate. I asked them to check that the first time, cause when I hit seek it will stop for a moment. Interesting. I've actually had problems with the Service Manager at Burt not calling me back. It has been a few months actually.
