If it was to go tan, you'd have to do the carpets as well in a tan. I prefer the 1 tone black, myself.

I'm not big on tan idea. I also tried the seats with black and brown and they don't look good. Right now I'm trying a darker brown.

The darker brown looks better. Throw a set of brown floor mats in and youd be good

IMHO the black goes better with the rest of the car. Now...if your car was RED, whole different story.

I am a fan of 2 tone interiors. I think #1 looks the best. Dark brown just doesnt look right to me, it might as well be black. I think I like the #1 photo more because it looks more like a copper color. Sweet in my opinion! Do it!... Do it.

That's exactly what went through my head. I was just too lazy to post it.

I really like number 1, I also think number 2 is too dark. The two tone interior is something I have never seen in a first gen rx-7 so it would be unique. My parents had a Porsche Boxster S 550 and it had almost the same colors outside and in. I think it works.

Thanks for bumping this post. I some how over looked this thread.
Your Ride is looking good.
As for the interior color, I prefer #1 the lighter color which provided more contrast to the black. Also gives more of the 2-tone look. I think the suggestion of the 2-tone seat would also flow with the 2-tone theme - looking forword to seeing the new photoshop.
