Saw these from another forum, anyone try one? They look clean as hell. Group buy would be perfect for something like this to get the price down in the 500's maybe.

Looks almost OEM. Saw they have a GPS module that works for it too, would be around a 1K total for a near-oem NAV setup....soo tempting.

I'll look around and see if I can get a better price from one of my wholesale suppliers.

Agreed, but not even close to how nice your stock unit looks Rich. That's my biggest complaint with my car. I got every option but the GPS. I am jealous of yours big time.

Its nice,, but if your wanting it for actually having a movie to play while driving then I wouldnt recommend it... See I have got a mazda 6 and we have the same map/GPS compartment as the 3's do.. I was gonna do a custom install with a screen up top like that instead of replacing my factory stereo but decided not to for this main reason... Its to high up... Im sure you know this but just in case you dont.. but its a big NO NO to have any kind of video source playing in drivers veiw.. And with having a screen this high up on the dash its very very easy for a cop to be driving by you or even behind you and see that you have a video playing.. This is why I chose to go with the indash kit cause its lower down and much harder to see from the outside unless your RIGHT next to the car are sitting up in lifted truck.

Well you didn't say "porn" the first time around. I'm all about playing porn while driving down the road ;-/

I actually saw that once, some guys in a Excursion with the back screen playing some porn. They were laughing their asses off watching parents with kids driving by....

That picture above sure looks like a factory set up to me. Looks like they're using an OEM housing and just putting an aftermarket monitor in it.

basically is, or it IS the OEM screen setup and it doesn't include GPS (which is awesome since the OEM mazda unit is hella expensive to update). Most people have been adding 400 dollar garmin units that use SD cards to update, they are fairly plug and play and come with a wireless remote too....that would be the route I take. No someone hookup a discount via vendor or GB and I will be all over this setup!
