Woot!
I've got a new toy! Yesterday was my birthday and Michele completely surprised me with a Sirius Stiletto 2 (with a 1 yr subscription). Woohoo! She didn't know if I'd like it or not, so tonight I'm going to go pick up the vehicle hardwire kit for it, although it'll have to wait until after this weekend for the install. Tis cool...you can record 10 hours of Sat radio to it, upload MP3s, etc, etc. Can't wait to start playing!
Nice. I have an S50. I believe the S50 was replaced by the Stiletto. I can also record songs I like, or upload MP3s. It also determines my listening preferences and records EVERYTHING from those channels when I'm listening to them. I think it will track like 3 channels that you listen to the most. Plus I can set it to record at certain times- like if a show is going to air that I like. I like it a lot. Since I've had it in my car, I haven't listened to "normal" radio since--> and I've had it in my car for about 20 months.

I'm still back in the dark ages of CDs too...So far, this is pretty neat to play with. Once I get back from Vail, I'll do the hardwire install.

Have you installed it at all yet? It's pretty cool to be deep in the mountains and still be listening to the radio. I rarely loose signal with mine. If I get stopped under an overpass I might loose signal. In my garage is hit or miss. And that first tunnel on I-70 in the mountains I think it drops out. I haven't been through the Eisenhower Tunnel with my car to know. That tunnel may have enough repeaters to maintain the signal. I've never had it drop out due to weather.

I've just listened to it at home so far and messed around with settings, etc. I just picked up the car kit for it last night. We're going to use it in Michele's car this weekend for the trip to Vail. I gave it a test last night in the Murano and it sounded/works great. She's got an aux input on her car, so that makes it a bit easier. I picked up the FM direct connection as well, as I'd rather have it wired than use the extender antenna.
As far as SQ goes, are you talking about the direct wired antenna, or the extended wireless antenna? Just curious, as maybe I'd get the Auxmod for my car and use that instead of the FM direct wire method.
If it wasn't blocked at work, I'd be listening now. Which is odd, I can get to about 99.9% of the radio stations out there.

Hardwired it up today...now I just need to mount it properly. I still just have it clicked to the vent. If anyone ever wonders, the center portion of the dash has tons of room to mount stuff...that's where I mounted the FM direct wire unit. And...satellite reception is awesome, I mounted the antenna on the inside of the car, on the metal support just before the trunk. Stealth mount...haha!
