I dunno I can see me having the car for a while so spending 300-400 bucks on stuff for the whole car seems worth it to me. I'd prob do a bigger buy and buy mine when Lee gets his for alittle discount.

me a post whore? never. [img]http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img]
Instead of dynamat (which is good I hear) you can just upgrade you stereo...my exhaust is nice and quiet....doesn't
sound like some fart cannon....josh I am looking in your direction. [img]http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif[/img]
I added a nice sub and amp (thank you cl!) to the car for about 200 added probably about 30 lbs and \
I can't hear anything anymore. Oh I did have to "pay" lee to help install it....still can't get the taste out of my
mouth...

Upgrading your stereo AND adding Dynamat (or some alternative) will further increase your stereo's performance.

Plus when you install Dynamat on the inside of your door skin panels, the doors have a much more solid feel to them.

And as a side note, Boeing/Cessna (and probably EVERY airplane company) use a similar material to help isolate noises through their skin panels as well. However, since this also adds weight, and weight and airplanes don't go well together, they found that applying this stuff to something like 70% of the skin panel area is nearly as effective as applying it to 100% of the area. But for a car, just apply it everywhere you can.
