Opinions needed....

I'm trying to figure out what subs I want to get for my CX-7......I'm thinking 2 JL W6's or Elemental Designs 13Av.2.....from what I have heard this is somewhat compairable to the W7..... (notice I said SOMEWHAT).... I'm looking for a good clean sounding sub(s)...everything I have read about both subs has been good....I just want some of the audiophiles input...I'm looking to buy tomorrow....

Here is a link to the ED 13Av.2 sub / Nine.1 amp combo....This is the amp I am getting....

My brother-in-law who used to run his own stereo installation business used to swear by JL's. W6's are great subs. I've always been a Kicker Solo-Baric man, myself, but you can't go wrong with either one really, both are high quality subs that will be plenty loud and still sound good and clean. A friend of his used to do really well in competitions with a pair of 15" W6s mounted in the window between the bed and cab of a '91 Ford Ranger. They were some mean subs, way too much for me. But a pair of 12s would sound really good in just about anything with the right box and amp.

I don't have any experience with Elemental Designs subs so I can't really comment on them.

I've always been a fan of kicker, I have 1 15" L7 with kicker 1000 watt amp. People loved the crisp sound, so much so 2 of my buddies have been turned to kicker subs. I would look into the L7 in your search.
