Is that the iPod only unit with no CD drive? Pretty nice for those that like iPods. I still like to have a CD drive available.

The quality of music on an MP3 is lower than CD quality, usually. That's what keeps driving me away from an adapter.

thats why you convert all your mp3's to a variable bitrate type.
increases size but sounds great.
plus most of my cds get too scratched to read after a month or two anyways.
think i might pick up this or something similar in the future.

I agree...plus I just get tired of carrying around CDs in the car...the Bose HU doesn't do mp3s so I bought the Grom Audio iPhone adapter...works great...better than CDs...by far IMO...

I agree. The only CD that will be in my car is a MP3 cd of all my favorite songs. I think I can do Dual layer DVD but im not sure. Then I have a SD card slot which I'll buy the biggest car I can. My phone has a 16GB card in it with 5gs of music and then I can plug in My sisters ipod touch, my zune HD or anyone elses MP3 player. CDs are a hassle.

Gone are the days of carrying around 600+ Cds and having them all get stolen.
