My New Kevlar Carbon Fiber Headliner and Pillar Wrapped Interior

Postby MSP SuperStreet » Thu Jan 07, 2010 9:14

Just finished my custom Headliner and Pillar Wrap

My Ride is a Blazing Yellow Mica MSP, so I used a Yellow Kevlar Carbon Fiber Hybred Material. Here are the spec on the material:

The fabric is 3k with a 2x2 twill weave which is the common weave style used for the industry. The fabric is a 5.7oz weight which is quite easy to drape over complex curves. (heavier weight fabrics available in our store). This fabric is not a vinyl or immitation. The fabric was woven by BGF and their long lasting presence in the composite industry will ensure you receive a quality material. Most bizarre colors available that are specially made for use which include Pink, Silver, Bronze, Bright Yellow, White, Lime Green, Purple and many others.

Here are the pics

Although in some pics it looks shinny it really isn't. But it sure does reflect the light from the flash.

Feedback??

Wow that is hideous. No offense. Everyone has their own tastes.

I think I'd have to see that in person. I know the car is full of mods, and pics don't ever do it justice.

I like it man, I don't think many cars could pull off the look, but yours has so much done to it and is so unique that this just adds to the effect

I'm sorry, I sounded really harsh earlier and I apologize. I'm just not one for visual modifications. Go before show. But it's cool that people do unique things to their cars to make them stand out.

Hey, No problem. The great thing about this Forum is the broad interest of its members. The one common threat is that we're all Mazda Enthusiast.

Very intresting. Didn't know they made CF Headliners. Was it special order?
How much weight did this add if any?
Would like to see it in person. The car was amazing looking before so this definetly must enhance the look. I think everyone here that has seen your car in person has told you that they wish it were theirs.

BTW CF is one material that really doesn't photograph that well. It's much prettier in person.
Have you thought about wrapping the "Oh Shit" Bars in CF Vinyl and also the Seatbelt peices. They look a little outa place. ;)

It's cool. :D Most of us aren't offended easily. It's kind of a family thing on this site. Eventually we all get to meet each other... Well most of us. I still think Stealth is just that. ;) We talk trash when we're together as well.

Like Regulator said, with that car and the other things you have done to it, a CF headliner only fits:)
one and one makes two, together we are free
