If your only gonna go with just a PLX one maybe. I'd wait though so you can set it up the way you want.

It comes with a pod I could use. And routing wires with the lotek without cutting the stock panel seems impossible. Also, I wonder how flush the lotek sits...

Find a totaled 8 on RX-8 club and buy the dash peice then cut and mold. That way you retain the stock peice.

Oh did you figure out if your 8 is Canadian? I wanted to see your washer fluid bottle but we were all over the place sunday jumping from car to car conversation to conversation.

If the pod you're going to use permanently is only 3 weeks away, don't do some crazy modification just to mount it for 3 weeks. Just ghetto rig it. Duct tape it to the dash or something temporary. Or just wait 3 weeks to install it.

Yeah that's true... :( 3 weeks is just a long time in mog world :( but those things worth having are worth waiting for, right?

I hear you. I'm going to be very upset if the rest of my mods don't get here by Friday and I have to wait another week to install everything. Even 1 week is an eternity when you have parts sitting in your garage that you can't install yet.

One week! Try having a Turbo Kit sitting in your basement for nearly 6 months and not installing it because you told the person you got a loan from you wouldn't do anything till they got paid back all their money.

Edit: It was more like 3 months in the basement. The other 3 I still owed the guy half more of my payment for the kit so it was sitting in his garage for that time. But man was it painful and long.

But yeah if you want the Ashtray Gauge wait for it and ghettoize it for now.

I had my VMIC setup for about 2 or 3 years before I went single turbo so I could install it LOL.
