Yesterday I got new front signal/parking lights...put them in...the drivers side parking light is stuck on way brighter than the other one....when i turn the signal on, the turn signal noise inside the car is going at turbo speed as well as the side signal and rear signal. I tried putting the stock bulb back in and now its doing the same thing. Hopefully this is something stupid im overlooking.... anybody have any idea whats up??

Do all the lights actually work? I know on Chevy's, a fast turn signal sound indicated a burnt out bulb.

Did you check the fuses and wiring to the harness? I believe all cars' turn signal lights go turbo speed with they're about to go out or have.

Are you f-ing serious?
It figures though. I heard the new BMW's don't have a dipstick to check the oil. The proper procedure for checking the oil is to bring the car into a dealership.
I like having new cars, but I don't like having the ability to work on them taken away. Especially for stupid stuff like light bulbs and oil.

yep the lights are to be handled by the dealerships...I heard about the BMW sans dipstick as well and it seemed to be an odd change....personally I don't like
relying on others to tell me when things are low....

The turbo signal action is usually a result of A. burnt out bulb. B. blown fuse. or C. maybe wrong bulb.

Well the bulb works...its pretty much stuck on bright mode, the parking light fuse looks fine...and the bulb # was exactly the same as the one I removed.

That thread looks like its about changing to LED lights....i have the stock lights in there right now...why would the stock lights all of a sudden need a resistor?
