So how messed up is that one stretch? The two lane stretch that shouldn't be a two lane cause there's rebar sticking out of the side holding up the road? See attachment, if that rings any bells.
coming down that section, I was glad that nobody was coming up, cause I was completely over the yellow line the entire way down. Color me chicken all you want.. even the one lane section on the west side of the pass was better than this..

LOL Charlie, yes I know exactly the stretch you're talking about, and I'm chicken right with you. There's another section on the other side where the curves are one lane, and you're praying nobody is coming around the corner like a badass. But it's a great ride! The scenery would have been better if it wasn't for the cold ass weather.

And I might mention that this is about the 10th trip I've taken there...I get bored on I-70...We go to Glenwood Springs quite a bit.
Also, if anyone wants to know, Highway 91 from Copper Mtn to Leadville is fun...not a lot of twisties, but fun for the speed.

LMAO...I know...My car actually did VERY well up there. She was getting very impatient with all the other slow SUVs trying to get up the pass.[/b]
