4 Wheelin with the 8

Postby GR-8 » Fri May 29, 2009 9:14

Memorial Day weekend I went camping and 4 wheelin with the 8. Had so much fun in the mud and drifting in on the dirt roads to the camp site. Some pics of the beautiful 8.

It was raining most of the weekend and wasn't sure if the 8 would get stuck and make it up the hill we settled at and back to the road. The 8 made it though with no problem while the deisles were struggling and spinning tires. (They were pulling camper though)

Pictures don't show the whole story. It was a really steep, bumpy road to get up there. Rocks sticking out everywhere. That is the worst the 8 has and will ever see.

You're crazy! I would have ripped off my bumper and got some chassis underbracing caught on something

Somewhere near Salida and Gunnison.

Yeah.... I was told that it was just a dirt road.... Wich it was till we got off the main dirt road. After that dips and bumps and rocks. A few did catch on my sideskirt. Gotta go buy a rattle can of touch up paint. I didn't mind though because I want different sideskirts and the front bumper still needs to be fixed from someone backing up into it. I think the only damage from this weekend was the sideskirts to tell you the truth. Now I have an excuse. Now to find a set that will compliment the Veilside GT rear and INGS Front.

Are you lowered? If so Denver sucks. You may get around Ft. Collins fine but good luck in Denver.

I can't see the pics (work internet blocks them), but you are crazy!

I don't know if I could do that to my 8.
