Looks like you have a blast.
Thanks for sharing pics.
I had the time of my life! High Plains is so so great! It was so cool to finally take the car to a track where it belongs and run at full clip safely!
The track is incredible! Such a great track in so many ways. Turn 6 is brutal on our FWD MS3's, but the rest of the corners are just awesome. The back straight is sweet too.

was that the pdx event?
No pdx event. National Auto Sport Association event. NASA is a great group, very nice and knowledgeable people.

Nice pics! Do you know if he took any of the other HPDE sessions? Oh and sorry I didn't get to meet you...I looked around but every time I went by your car nobody was there. I'm curious who your instructor was, too. Are you going to the next one?
Oh and tbot, they don't take lap times for HPDE...not with transponders anyway. I think you can run a transponder in the higher groups but I never have. Definitely wasn't worth it in the car I was driving lol. A lot of people use a stopwatch though.

A CMZC track day there would be so cool!
MazdaGurl wrote:Awesome experience!! Who was your instructor?
I can't recall last names sadly, but i had two instructors since the first one needed to prep his car for the enduro during my last session. My first instructor was David ? (HPDE-2 group leader). And my other instructors name i think was David also, but i can't remember exactly since i was only with him for a short time.

I don't have any lap times to share. HPDE does not get timed, nor did i really care. Next time i may time it myself somewhow.

Thanks Tim!

What session were you in? Lee got there for the last session of 1&2 and was off track by the time i went to my download, so i'm guessing he only got shots of groups 1&2.
I plan to go to the one on Oct 31 or Nov 1. I can't decide which one i want to go to yet.
