So I'm getting my Ride ready for the 2010 Car Show Season. Focusing on some engine bay details, I decided to do some one-off CNC machining on hose clamps. I had them engraved with the "Mazdaspeed" logo. Here are some pics of the injen CAI and SMIC clamps.

Plus they last longer. If you overtighten worm clamps too many times, they stop working cause the grooves get all messed up. Don't ask me how I know this. :P
But the engraving does look really cool.

Met this guy at Hot Rod show last fall. He had some custom engraving under his hood and he offered to some items for me. Kind of slow turn around but please with the quailty of the work. Especially since he had to hand digitize the logo.

I didn't put the serial/VN on these. But I'm working on some other items that will have the VN.
chickenwafer wrote:T-Bolt clamps are good but for low boost applications worm gear clamps work fine really.
I've always had worm gear clamps on these hoses and never had a problem with them holding. Might consider T-bolt clamps if I decide to upgrade after I get the other engraving work done.
