Only a few made it to the cruise up Mount Evans. Either way it was a very pretty drive. My RX-7 made it to the entrace of Mt. Evans then I had to ride with one of the other members. She started to overheat, well, get hotter than I wanted. Either way good cruise, good people AND PRETTY AMAZING VIEW!

Ones who made it:

Paul - Number2; Jon - LearJet45; Alain - Geo2maz; Christi - myself. Short, but sweet. Very nice drive up. Even if my car was running smooth, I wouldn't take it to the top... scary drop offs, and nearly one-lane roads.... Alain did a good job not scaring me :D .. and Jon, I'll be killing you the next time I see you with snow :) Fair warning.

Anyways, pictures:

Lasts pictures consist of just myself, Alain & Jon. Paul had turned around earlier on the drive up due to hail/rain and I guess his tires :[

looks awesome. Is it possible to camp up there? did you guys see camp spots or at least a small section to park overnight? I bet the sunrise is amazing from the view and I want to take some pics of it.

The pass that they give you when you go get to the entrance (costs $10) said something about camping I think.
There isn't really any overnight parking or much parking at all. At least, not once you start getting higher up where we were taking most of those pictures. We drove all the way up without stopping (we couldn't really stop actually, it started hailing pretty bad and visibility was like no more than 25 feet at best on the way up), so working from the top down, we didn't really stop after reaching Summit Lake. There are some little dirt patches that you can park on off the sides and at hairpins occasionally, and there are a few parking spots up at the very top. There is camping though.

I would love to go up really early one morning and see the sunrise from one of those little dirt spots where we stopped to take pictures.
