This is Bunny. Bunny has the following mods: BNR Supercars GT28RS TC - Mazdaspeed CAI - ACT Streetlite CK - Vibrant TIP - Extreme Turbo Systems TMIC - SLS Performance TP - Magnaflow CBE - James Barone Racing SSP & HSK - Cobb AP - Xcarlink iPod integrator - VG Sharkfin - RX-8 Wheels - Fiber Images CF Hood w/BCM accents
Hmm... I'll have to take it into consideration. I've been running Stage 2 for awhile now and things seem fine so far. No crazy temps, good A/F mixtures, spec LTFTs, and (what I think) are good fuel delivery numbers. (?)
I guess to quote the great Ivan Drago- If he dies.... He dies.

Sounds good, I'll get back into the habit of data logging more often, now that it's getting hotter. My KR numbers were really great last Summer, after the addition of the TMIC, and from what I recall, I was always pushing high 1600's for fuel pressure, during WOT. If those numbers start coming down, I'll look into getting an aftermarket pump; I know that TheRPMStore sells 'em.

I personally wouldn't run a stage 2 map without a downpipe. Per Cobb, that means you don't have the necessary hardware for running stage 2. Intake = Stage 1, Downpipe = Stage 2. And there are modifications for intercoolers, etc. They wouldn't go to so much trouble making so many different maps for every hardware combination if it wasn't important.
I'm guessing maybe altitude is letting some get away with running a stage 2 map without the necessary hardware, I don't know. But along the lines Mortose was talking about, I would also keep an eye on EGTs. If they are getting crazy high, bad things can happen. You don't want them much higher than 1500-1600deg at WOT. If you start getting up around 1800, then you might want to consider going back to a stage 1 map, even if all the other stuff you are monitoring looks fine.
