So you say road race does that mean that they are not DOT?

I believe for it to be DOT approved, there needs to be some kind of tread pattern in it. Even if it's as simple as:

Nick Leone; Sorry, didn't really answer your question. They are a road race compound. The assumption being they don't reach their optimum performance temperature as quickly as an autocross compound would. I bought them for autocrossing and figured they would last longer than autocross compound tires would have lasted. Having run very few events the last couple years, it is a moot point.
