Speed3 CPE nano intake

Postby COspeed6 » Sun Mar 25, 2012 9:14

Sold!

Hey I'm selling my CPE nano sri intake for a first gen mazdaspeed 3 it had about 5k miles when I bought it.
I put it on my speed6 but is is just too short for it to get any cool air.
You can really hear the turbo spool and the stock bpv with this intake.
It felt faster too.
You can text or call me at 303-482-5638

$150, just trying to get what I payed for it back.

Thanks,
Dennis

SRIs are still effective upgrades. Freeing up the restriction in airflow is the biggest gain, not cooler air. The short ram vs. cold air intake debate goes on and on but most of the tests done on this platform have shown there to be very little difference in power between a cold-air intake and a short ram, so I wouldn't be worried about the intake being too short unless it really doesn't fit right or something.

Do you think I could go to AutoZone and buy an extension for the intake? Or would that throw off the MAF calibration too much?
