Hey guys, about a month ago I purchased the Qualir QL-MZD216 system for my 2010 Mazda 3 Hatch without BOSE. It took a couple weeks to get here and I immediately installed it into the car. However, yesterday I traded my 3 in for a '12 Speed 3, and this unit isn't compatible with the BOSE system. So I need to sell it so I can pick up one that does work with the BOSE system.

You can see the unit from Qualir's website here. It looks absolutely amazing in the dash. It's got a lot of features...Ipod control via the screen AND steering wheel controls, DVD playback (yes, while the car is in motion which I don't suggest BTW ;) ), Navigation via a very nice interface on screen with maps stored on an SD card, of course AM/FM with a LOT of presets (too many IMO), a USB cord to plug in a USB memory stick with music/movies/pictures, also a Micro SD card slot also which is usable for music/movies/pictures/etc.

The OEM AUX-IN does still work with this unit.

The Bluetooth does work, however it does use an external mic, and not the OEM Mazda microphone. I simply clipped the microphone on the gauge hood lid and it worked great on the calls I made in the brief time I had the unit hooked up.

The Ipod cable DOES charge your ipod while hooked up which some other units from Qualir don't do.

It is indeed a great unit, and I would keep it if it worked with the BOSE system.

I spent $442 shipped to me for this unit, and I had to wait 2 weeks for it to get here. But it was well worth it IMO.

If someone local buys this, I will help you install it as it's incredibly easy and only took me about 20 mins....seriously. :)

Pics of it installed in the car (it was only installed for 2 weeks). Sorry I don't have any pics of the NAV running at the moment, I thought I took a picture of it running, but I couldn't find one. The NAV works great though. :)

Unfortunately I work every Saturday. :( I'd love to come...what time is the meet? I usually work until 3:30pm or so.

It looks amazing. I actually had it in the 3 hatch when I went in to get a appraisal on the trade and the salesman was blown away at how good it looks. (I kept it because they weren't meeting the number I wanted for my car). :D

Bump. Forgot to add it does come with the Back-Up camera which I never got to install. It's in great condition, and I can get some pics of the NAV running if someone really wants (I just have to hook it up to my car without the bose amp plugged in).

I can see why you wanted to keep it in your new car. Looks great. hopefully a non bose member picks it up.

Hope so too, but if not, I'm working on bypassing the Bose amp (which I've successfully tested), but I need to find the number codes of the harnesses used so I can find reverse harnesses and complete a harness for a full plug and play bypass.
