Not sure if you've been here but it's a lot greener over there than it is over here BTW. Big trees are few and far in between. It's mostly brownish/green over there, very dry... which is a good thing, the dry part, I mean.

I hate the constant sticky feeling here. Humidity sucks. That's what I noticed about Colorado the first time I visited. It's so brown. Dry is nice, until a fire starts.

All of the problems have freaked out my family since they heard about my husband's job. First the fire, and then the shooting. My mom is so scared of that, but not the fact that (right now) I live in a place that has (last time I checked) 3 times that national average for violent crimes in the US.

Thanks! I already love Denver, and Colorado Springs. I'm ready to hit some roads in my car, and my husband's. I'm excited to actually be able to use the convertible top on the spyder. Here you die of heat, or get eaten by misquotes.

Bolded for relevance :) I misquote a lot too and people are always trying to eat me! (i'm funny in my own mind...)

Well have a great move, tell your husband to log in too. Seems like people are pulling more and more events together. You gotta be careful if you move toward the Springs side...seems the majority are part of the rotary cult thoughthere are an increasing number of 3s (speeds mostly I think).

Congrats to husband for making more money as well...that's always nice!

Welcome and we'd love to have you out at the autocrosses. Couple of good dragstrips one near Denver and one south in Pueblo. Three road courses 'bout an hour east of Denver HPR, hour east of Pueblo (Lajunta) and one in Pueblo. Great mountain drives too.

Welcome! Hey Memphis isn't so bad, I'm from just North of there in Southeast Missouri, Southern Illinois originally though.

Although I'm not sure what part of Memphis you were in lol.

And yes, we rotaries have taken over C Springs. But a Speed here and there isn't so bad lol.

How long ago? I actually live in one of the nicer suburbs. In the two years I have lived here, it has gone down hill dramatically.

LOL My husband thinks he is the king of rotaries, he often rehashes his glory days to me. *rolls eyes*. I think he is getting senile.
