Hello all...
Recently purchased an 08 Mazdaspeed3 and gf got an 09 RX8 R3. Just found this forum through RX8 club! Any others in castle rock??? Ill post up some pics of the cars asap

did you get the 08 or 08.5? (do you have piano black accent pieces, and the seats black alacandra?)

Another fellow Castle Rocker! Alright, thought I was the only one. Lol. Live right off Plum Creek Pkwy. I used to compete in Solo II back in the day with my old Familia (91 protege with a 323-gtr engine and drivetrain)

I work on Fort Carson, so Im down in the springs 5 days a week! I should be getting my internals pretty soon here, definitely will need help installing those! Have you done them?

dude, just stop by. hahaha. I've got internals, FMIC, Plugs, TIH, SRI, AP, blah blah blah.
I've also got the tools to do it as well. so let me know when you want to do them.

Excellent. Im waiting on my per diem pay to finally come through then Im gonna order em. Though I think Im having vvt issues, so im taking my car to the dealer on friday to get it checked out.
All I have done so far is corksport sri and had 2 resonators removed.

how many miles you have on the speed? they recently extended the warranty for the VVT and smoking turbo issues.

52k. I saw that extension on the msf.org forums. I made an appointment at the dealer today. I may be over-reacting but I figured Id get it checked out. I thought I heard the engine rattle for a second or two the other mornind when I started it.
