I found these 18" winters for sale here locally. I have a set of these in 17" for the 3 and they were awesome last year! Price looks good- esp since they appear to be new.

I think they would fit fine- only 10mm wider. I'm running 215's on my 3- when the stock is 205 w/o any issues. Yes, in winter, narrower is better- but I have not had any issues. The tires feel more stable to me on my car. [img]http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/2cents3fo.gif[/img]

2006 MAZDA 3 S 4/5-DOOR 17-INCH
BOTHELL, WA
Driving Conditions: Mostly City
Driving Style: Mostly City
Miles Driven on Tires: 500
Would Buy Tire Again?: Yes
Very pleased with these. The stock rs-a's were terrible on the snow, what a difference with the Ice Bears. Right now with snow and ice everywhere, and 20 degree temps these are worth their weight in gold for me. Oh, very good on dry blacktop also, can't hardly tell I've got a snow tire on. Would recomend these to front drivers looking for an advantage in winter.

2006 MAZDA 3 S 4-DOOR 16-INCH-
BRIGHTON, CO
Driving Conditions: Highway/City Mix
Driving Style: Highway/City Mix

Bought these tires last night to replace the stock Goodyear RS-A's (horrible , especially in cold temps) for the winter season. I purchased them at a perfect time, as I had to drive in a heavy snowstorm today, everything from wet and slushy to hardpack w/ice. These tires were exceptional, and allowed me to travel safely and confidently in very poor road conditions. They are relatively quiet, much quieter than the very loud RS-A's, and ride very well. Cornering is not as crisp as the OEM's, but after all, this is a winter tire. There is a definite initial roll onto the sidewalls on a hard corner, then they set and hang on well. Overall, this is a great tire. If you live in a cold climate w/ varying weather (and drive a 3!), I highly recommend this tire- especially at the price! Thanks Discount Tire! Drive safely!

That last review is from ME! I still feel that way after all of last season w/ about 7k miles of driving.
No, its not a 4 door (well, technically it is), and the wheels are 17"- they did not give an option at the time.
You won't go wrong with them...
