You can get them for $9k with less than 14k miles on the chassis and less than 200 miles on the engine??? I have to know where this is.

Not to mention that a car that is 7 years old has the mileage of a car that is 1 year old. Wild.

I didn't realize replacement engine warranties were 105k miles. That's a rather odd number.

Even if it's 14k miles, still too high.

I had a hunch you read it incorrectly with the high-mileage comments LOL.

With the little I know about 04s and their reliability, I would agree with you Tim. However, assuming a new engine would solve some of the problems, and if other reliability issues were resolved, I'd say this is a decent price. Not an outstanding price, but much better than what they did cost new.

The engines are identical in first series RX-8's, the issue was the tune Mazda released on the 04's that controlled OMP oiling, AFRs, timing, etc. So when they replace the motor they put the new flash on the PCM so it's all good.

lol dam dude you were making me think I was crazy when you said you can get them cheaper! i wans an MS kit so bad if i didnt have mine already i would scoop this up right now!
