The End Of the Site

We wanted to let everyone know that the forum will be dying at the end of this month. We wanted to let everyone know this in case you want to save any of your thread info. We also don't want people to wonder what happened.

PM me your info if you would like to keep in touch.
Name, cell number, and email

I can get you put on a list to let you know when we have meets, etc.

Also I'm planning to get a free chat box setup so I will need you email if you want access to that.

It has been a great run and I've had the pleasure to meet a lot of great people. I'm really sorry to see the site go but it has been coming for a while.

Keep your eyes open for a new club: Colorado Automotive Enthusiasts. I'm not sure when I will be able to get it going. Cost is going to be the main hiccup.

Information exchange would be great. This is convenient, but I don't mind using my telephone.

If you have a FB account, for the interim, join Colorado Weekend Warrior Track Group. It's an open group.

Well that sucks. I'm sure you still have my info. Have you thought about starting a FB group until the new site is up?

I'll see if there's something I can do on the backend. I just saved a backup of the site to my home computer. If we can get free hosting/boards set up, maybe we can upload and convert.

My brother hosts a ton of sites. He said we could use one of his servers and will host it for free if we want to keep this going. What do you think?

Do you know how many MB's the site is?

Huzer says about 1GB. So pretty small.

Well I hope something gets worked out. I hate to see the site go. Plus I wasted a lot of time keeping up my build thread HAHA.

Can you see what we can get set up? I'll need a user account and IP to upload the site to. I'll work on converting the site to phpbb beforehand. Then, it should be a simple upload to get us up and running.

We WILL lose data, that's expected during a migration. We'll lost the garage, possibly the gallery, and some customizations. I can't guarantee a move will go smoothly, but I'll do the best I can.

I hope that something can be worked out to keep the site going. I've enjoyed my time and it would suck to see it go away!

As an update, I tried to provide billing info to the hosting company but was unable to. Since I am not the account holder, they would not take my info. Thus, I can not extend the site in its current forum. A migration to a different format and different host is required by the end of the month.
