To you northern CO peeps, I know it's not THAT much closer than Denver, but would you be willing to trek to Westminster/Thornton area? I live at 136th/120th exits from I-25. There are a few restaurants right off the highway...Hooters, CB Potts, or some stuff up around 144th as well.

I agree on the advance notice thing. Granted, I haven't been terribly good about making it to any meets...as cool as the V70 is, well, it's still a stock V70.

I'd be all over a 136th/144th meet. I live about 5 exits north of there. Bree, thanks again for the invite. Good excuse for a drive and I had a great time. BTW, did this replace the Lakewood Sonic meet or is that one still going? Also, does anyone know if the 92nd and Federal Sonic meet is still happening?

Yes, northern Denver meets are fine. Really, Denver meets are fine for me, it's just annoying to drive 45-60min one way, depending on traffic, and suck $30 worth of gas if only 2 other people are going to show up, ya know?

Its just like you guys coming up here for a meet...I wouldn't expect you to if it's going to be a less than I impressive showing.

I hear ya. I just think for a "bigger" gathering, we need to set a date that works for people and plan accordingly.

Yes, this meet was originally the Hamburger Stand meet from about 2 summers ago. The Friday night sonic on Federal is very much still alive :)

In my opinion the reason why we don't get an impressive turnout is because people are all saying the same thing "I'm not going unless people will be there." Seriously just go, you might be surprised. Mazda meets are dead but I hang out with a wide variety of enthusiasts and that's what it is about!
