I prefer my Nokia n900 to anything out right now...basically a full blown hildon linux system. I only keep my iphone around to deposit my paychecks...again something similar to mac vs windows, windows is only around because people need it. If i could do the same on my nokia then I would have gotten rid of the iphone a long time ago.

Well, the method determining "size" wasn't specified.

I used to be on the Window's side but things have changed in the last few years...

For one, I always get sh*t from everyone bc i'm a graphic designer on a PC and people think i "should" be on a mac. I still use my pc for most stuff, but I also have a mac, iphone, ipod... (I do love mac hardware)

One thing I have to give apple props' for, when I'm trying to render a 500+mb file in Illustrator on my pc and it crashes bc of the big size, I take it over to my mac and it renders it effortlessly... so it's saved my as$ many times :) although i'm still a pc guy, gotta show apple a little love.
(except for Itunes, I despise Itunes.)

Nope, not true. LOL I know you were making a joke but to me it's sacrilege. If you want a veee-eight powered sports car go buy a Mustang, Corvette, Camaro, or some other car they made by the millions.

Anywho...

Has there ever been such a polarizing company as Apple? You either love em or hate em.

Everyone has their preferences and opinions. But Apple has to be doing something right to be where they're at now. Weather is the iPod/iPhone and regardless of their PC's, I don't know, but they fill a need.

I really like the new Macbook Air. It looks cool, I love the flash memory, the screen is high-res, etc. I also like Mac OS. But I'm no computer hacker so I could care less about the technical jargon.

That's what I'm willing to pay for. Yes this laptop is small and tiny, but its a solid piece of aluminum, and I bet a lot stronger than most people are giving it right now.......

Yes the design of the new Air is pretty nice. But not all their Computers are THAT nice. Who is to say what "Industrial" design is?

I agree that the Case is gonna be stronger than what people are assuming. Most people, when they hear aluminium, are thinking about thin soda cans. So they are lost in how strong it is. I'd hate to drop the Air though. That'd get a pretty good sized dent in it. You have to give it to apple for using "High Quality" materials. But I wouldn't pay 1K for it.

That's still a bit different than the entire DoD/Military switching over to Apple LOL. I'm pretty sure all our computers at work and even the new stuff we'll be getting will be Microsoft but I could be wrong. I don't know near as much about this stuff as you guys do.
