Paging Dave McLarty...

Postby speedjunkie » Wed Oct 20, 2010 9:14

...Dave McLarty to the lounge...

http://www.rotarycarclub.com/rotary_forum/showthread.php?t=12410

Here is a thread on RCC. Check it out. He's going to be stopping in Ft Collins and needs a place to stay, so I offered you up HAHAHA. Not really. But I did mention that you lived there, and I wasn't sure if you had offered or not. But I figured we could come up and make a day of it when he's there, an impromptu rotary meet with a fellow rotorhead from afar.

I thought of something several years ago (or maybe someone else thought of it and I agreed with it, I don't remember haha) of having places for people to stay all around the US in case they were traveling through and needed a place to crash, or in case they broke down and needed help. Not sure whatever happened with it. Probably nothing if I was the one that thought it up LOL.

No I mean for rotary owners specifically. I've never heard of that website either though. I know it sounds odd, but I'd trust a fellow rotary owner more than just some random person that I had probably nothing in common with, although it would still come down to meeting them in person and seeing how they are first, regardless of whether they're an owner or not.

Hahahahah thanks Eric.

I've talked with TT at length before, he's a pretty cool guy

EDIT: He said he has lodging for here. Perhaps we can get a little meet together?
