Do you have a wire snake? I removed the existing light and put a block off plate than ran wires to boxes for existing construction were I wanted them.

Instead of working on the car tonight, I painted the garage. Go figure. Perty white walls for me now instead of unfinished drywall. I did it mostly for more reflected light, but it looks better, too.
Still need to paint the ceiling, but the walls were the main priority. I had a 5 gallon bucket of contractor paint in the basement the walls drank up. I'll need to pick up another gallon from SW to finish cutting in.

Got the rear sway installed today. Size difference is 14mm to 21mm. Should make a significant difference. Took about an hour and a half, since to wrestle the bar out of the car, it required removed one shock and dropping the exhaust. Here's the diff between old and new:

Fuel filter done as well. Easiest one I've ever done. There's a valve to relieve the fuel pressure, and 2 quick disconnect clips. took about 5 minutes. Now it's on to the front control arms, DP, turbo line gasket, and potentially the front sway.

I was able to swap the control arms and....that's it. The turbo line gasket is a joke, buried underneath cables, hard coolant lines, and the angle gear. In short, I'd need a lift, as I can't wriggle into position underneath the car to do it. Shoulda pulled the angle gear off the car when I thought about it a few months back.
That said, the control arms + rear sway have made an absolutely huge difference. Bushings were shot on the arms, so it's tightened up the front immensely. And the rear sway has pushed the car towards oversteer, which I prefer. It doesn't plow into turns like it used to. I can only imagine next spring, once I'm able to swap the rest of the suspension components and lower the car a little bit (to the ride height of a stock V70 vs an XC).

After a few more days of driving....geez, the control arms and sways were the first things I should've done on the car. It's literally night and day. Before I was clunking and banging all over the place. (That said, the endlinks I did long ago helped clear up things as well.)
Now all I need is....more powah!

Picked up some OEM Volvo BBS wheels and I'm patiently waiting for the Kumho Ecsta ASX tires to arrive. I know they aren't premium tires, but the SPTs on the 6 and the Solus on the Murano have done us well. Figured I'd give the ASX a shot on the wagon.
Some nob was trying to sell me truck tires. Nitto Grapplers or something like that.
