new laptop

I say just return the laptop and get Win7 instead and everything will just work. (and get some money back)
Or just format the dang thing (or dual boot) and put Win7 on it. Just too much PITA.

I don't have to worry about any of this anymore. I no longer need help with all this, it's already in the state I wish it to be. Plus I'm already deployed so it would be kinda tough to take it back anyway haha.

Before I left I used Boot Camp, which is already installed on the Mac, and I installed Windows 7 Ultimate. Now if I DL something I do it through Windows, save it to the HD and if I want to view it on Mac I can. Or if I do DL something while it's booted in Mac I save it to my 16GB flash drive and move it over to save to the HDs through Windows. If I'd known I could do that I probably would have skipped all this in the first place HAHA.

No reformatting HDs for me. WOOHOO!!!
