Another FD in the area
Re: Another FD in the area
Yeah, I would definitely appreciate help tuning. I'm in the final stretch of finishing everything so hopefully I can do some Auto-X/Time Attack/Drifting this summer.
Re: Another FD in the area
This summer we all need to have a friendly RX7 PPIR time attach competition
Re: Another FD in the area
I have time this weekend if you want to tune the car.
Re: Another FD in the area
I'm finishing up the brake bias valve relocation and catch can/hard lines then ill be ready to tune hopefully. That and the new ignition setup should fix all of the weaknesses I found trying to tune it last time.

Re: Another FD in the area
Here is where I ended up putting it. Could have done a better job but metal lines are hard to work with in tight spaces.
Ignition in and brakes all done. (need to bleed them)
Next item on the list is on hold while I wait for the -10 hardline to show up, its on back order. Gonna need to weld an aluminum bar here to mount the catch can.
With any luck this will fix the issues that arose during tuning.

Drove the car today. WOW. There is noticeably more low rpm torque available with this ignition setup. 180k mile stockers vs new upgraded coils.

Damn, now I'm really gonna have to get the bigger turbo. I already have too much down low and it's only going to get better (or worse?). lol As soon as I get my car back we need to swap for test drives.
Did you get ahold of Mitch? I gave him your number too.
