I never understood the Halo thing. It is like a remake of Doom. Mindless killing. I like games that make me think.

Yea Halo had a good story line but the 3rd one ended that but the game was never more than mindless killing and at least Doom was original

socom confrontation will surprise you. ive played cod4 its okay. well if you have socom ca im on usually every night if im not on the comp. awd-gc8 i dont get server issues like xbox live has lately. the new socom will be very spiffy minus it not having dual shock i like knowing im getting hit.

Call of Duty 4 is were it's at. Halo 3 sucked. The story line, online, and the final level more than anything. I doubt SOCOM could surpass COD4 IMHO.

Please tell me you saved some money and bought it used. My official opinion on the game since I've had a chance to actually play it two weeks ago is that it shouldn't be a NFS tittle. It is not like the others in anyway. Overall a good but repetitive easy game. I give it a 7 out of 10. Much better than Carbon which is a 4.

I used to LOVE NFS. The last one I really liked was Hot Pursuit 2 (yes, it was awhile ago). I think I would have liked Most Wanted but my laptop can't handle it. I'm not a fan of the new ones (Underground 1/2, Carbon, etc.).

Started playing CoD4 on PC and can't get enough of it!
