Moral to the story, never be one of the first to shell out cash for a product that hasn't even been produced!

That's a pretty sweet handmade setup. If he could figure out how to mass produce it, that would be pretty sweet.

I was in on that group buy for the "other" pod. It was $38, so not a big loss, just the principal of the thing I guess.
If you think the 24 page post gets a little rediculous, you sould see the 70 page one that was deleted prior to the 24 page one.
The pod to create the molds was produced, with pictures proving its existance back in Feb of last year. It was supposed to be one month to get the mold made and casted and shipped out to people, but he used a manufacturer based in china who supposedly scammed him with delays and such. Apparently he is offereing refunds now, but I will hold out on that one until I hear that people are actually getting checks.
But Yes, bottom line, don't give money for a product that isn't actually available. I never would have done it if it were more expensive.

Took a couple hours to dremmel out one of the pieces and get it to fit right, but after that, it was simple as pie...two wires, and a hose going throught the harness wall

and honestly, Ive never noticed a difference as far as not having that vent...Im pretty sure its just as cold where I live, and really dont notice it...
When the climate control is on auto, it never goes to the face vents anyways, always at feet level or defrost or both.... The only time I've ever used my vents up top is in the summer for the a/c...I may have issues in the summer not getting enough cool, we'll see..
