My next bike will be a Yamaha but not a R6. I like this one.

wow asshat is on top of it.
I'm really thinking about it. I have wanted an evo for years. And was stupid and bought an Rx-8 (great car.. just yea) and then instead of waiting like i should have to get out of the rx-8 and get an evo again, i found my GLI and really liked it and went with that.
Now, i should have just slowed down and got an evo. now its that time.

I couldn't agree more. I was looking online and a new EVO is going for about 36-42K. I mean don't get me wrong it is a cool car but at that price point there are a lot of other options that I would look at.
I prefer the Evo to the STI. The price point on both vehicles, however, is absurd.[/b]

I hear ya man... I hear ya.... I was stupid in the same way, wanted an STI years ago, bought a 350Z instead (mostly due to price)... realized the Z wasn't practical in Colorado lol (bought it in Texas, while stationed at Ft Hood), still wanted an STI... bought a Speed6 (mostly due to price point... again lol).... and finally, realized a hard lesson: Buy what you want the first time lol. Bought my STI last September, and couldn't be happier! It's the car I've always wanted, and can't think of another car I would rather have! It's perfect for me... and according to various lap times, the 04-07 STI's are faster on the track than the new '08's, so I'm very happy, although sorry to see the new STI lose it's edge
I do like the look of the new EVO... we'll have to run 'em
I've also heard GREAT things about the new 4B motor, over on evolutionm.net they're getting larger gains from basic bolt-ons than they ever did on the 4G motor... although, the new turbo is smaller than the 4G's twin-scroll super 16G, I think it's now a single scroll 152?!? Either way though, they're getting some AWESOME gains out of them:
