I hope it makes you happy, but isn't it cooler being in a car NOT at every intersection?

How funny- my buddy was looking at that exact same car last week. He ended up buying a Silver 05 Legacy GT. Come down to the shop one day and check us out. I have all kinds of goodies in stock for your car.

I think a WRX looks goofy WITHOUT the big STi wing on the back. I don't know, the plain WRX's just don't do it for me. The Legacy GT, as mentioned above, I would totally rock one of those. I think those are sweet looking cars.

Go north on Nevada.
RIght on Vermijo.
Vermijo dead ends, you then go right down a paved alleyway, can't miss it from there.

http://www.revolutionsperformance.com/contact.php there is a google map shot on there to help you out.

Congrats! Look forward to seeing it. Lets race also.... ;)

And the only reason we gave you shit Josh because you pretty much wanted to downgrade to an STI after you pretty much had the fastest Speed3 in the State dumping about what 2K into it... The only thing the STI had on you was AWD.[/b]

Downgrade? Bwuhahahahahahaha! Josh's modded Speed3 wasn't faster than my stock STI... not even from a roll... and while behind him, with him taking off from a light, I had to hit my brakes while rolling away from a light so I wouldn't hit his rear bumper. From a stop, or in a low gear, he would have got rocked, bad. Granted he didn't have his EM at the time, but that's not necessarily a bad thing as I know with the EM, his Speed3 had MASSIVE problems with fuel cut, especially at high speeds. Don't get me wrong, he was making good power, but on MAC's dyno, do you know what it would take for an STI to put down the same power? A boost controller. That's it, and that's all. Don't take my word for it, search around over on AWDpirates.

The Speed3 is the best handling stock FWD car I've ever driven, but in the twisties, an STI it's not. Stock for stock, the STI is faster... mod for mod, due to the MS3's tricky ECU & fuel cut problems, the STI is still faster.... and the corners, not only is the STI easier to rotate (doesn't understeer nearly as bad), you can also get on the throttle quicker coming out of corners... I've driven the shit out of both, trust me on this one. The Speed3 is a badass car, MAJOR bang for buck, but in no way, shape or form is an STI a "downgrade" in comparison. Last I checked, the fastest STOCK STI at Bandimere ran a 13.4, whereas I'm yet to see or hear of a Speed3 stock or modded at Bandimere, run into the 13's at all.

Don't mean to dis on the Speed3, but if Josh would have got an STI, with the money he spend in mods on the Speed3, on an STI not only would he have had a car that handled better, with a MUCH larger aftermarket, but with the same mods, he would have made more power, had NO fuel cut issues, NO random power loss issues, and his first 2 gears would have been usable. Granted, it would have came at a price, as the STI costs considerably more money, and has higher insurance rates lol, but, you get what you pay for. Although, with Josh's power goals, and the fact he wanted AWD, I still attest, he should have got an EVO, but I won't get into that lol.

To the OP, congrats man! What do you think of it? How do you feel it stacks up against the RX-8? Good call getting a '07, the 2.5L is a HUGE improvement over the old WRX 2.0L :)

And no, you're not kicked out of the club... you'll just have people throwing out random negative comments from time to time, but you'll get used to it lol.

I do agree with Brandon. If you are looking for performance...STI/WRX is the way to go. Not only do they have the best awd system in the business, they are also well engineered.
Me personally, I bought a Mazda not because I was looking for performance (although they will give most cars a run for their money), I bought mine because they are a very refined car. They look great, sleek, eye catching, superb interior, comfort and smooth ride. My Speed turns head everywhere...not sure I would get the same in a Subaru...but to each his own.

Again...congrats Ghost. Hope you enjoy your new ride.

Oh, you'll turn heads in an STI, although it's a different kind of "head turning" lol. Your Speed6 is gorgeous, you get a lot of "wow, that's a really clean looking car, very nice" kind of looks... whereas in the STI, well, when you have a large hood scoop & foot high wing on the trunk, it attracts attention for sure, but when people turn their heads, it's damn sure not because it's a "clean looking" car lol. I've had more punk kids try to race my STI in one month, than I did in a year's worth of owning my Speed6.

For sure though, my Speed6 was much more refined than my STI, much quieter, smoother ride, sleeker ect.

It's okay Brandon, just keep trying to convincing yourself that you made the right decision on trading in the speed6 for an STI. We all know it is just a huge case of buyer's remorse on your part.

LOL. Yeah, that's what it must be :D

In all actuality, I only have 2 regrets.... 1) I wish I would have bought an STI YEARS ago when I bought my WRX, as I could have had it paid off :( ..... and, 2) I regret not getting World Rally Blue lol. I do like the gray, but still prefer world rally blue. Other than that, couldn't be happier, well, except for the gas mileage, but the Speed6's gas mileage sucked too lol, that's what you get when you buy turbo AWD cars :)

Nice to be back, life has been eventful lately. BTW, I had NO IDEA getting married dropped your insurance so drastically, after I changed over to married, my insurance dropped $70/month!! Just crazy!
