I just recived a carfax of my car history and it says that there was "damage to left center pillar" I talked to someone over at burt mazda and it sounds like he has no idea what the hell he's talking about. I thought it was the part of the frame behind the wheel and infront of the door. but now after talking to him i'm all the bit more confussed.

so where is it, and what is it.

man if you work for a dealer you should know what the hell people are talking about. they should give out a test or something. I think I may just take it in and have someone look at it. but they might have the same idea about the where the hell this thing is.

he did say if someone takes a car into a repair center or so on, for scratches or dings it will show up on carfax as a acident so thats what im hoping for. if not

A dealer should really know that the correct term is. "B" pillar. There's an A, B, and C pillar in cars.

Unless you drive an RX8.

Anyways sounds like thats what theyre refering to is the B-pillar. Did it say what kind of damage? The B- pillar area in a miata isnt exactly a large area.
